Why we've created this blog...

Our families are so spread out geographically, but close in heart and spirit.

We thought this might be a great place to catch up with our day to day lives, just us, our circles of families.

Isn't it a great place to come sit by the warm fireplace, cozy up in the big comfy couches with steaming cups of tea, coffee, or a large glass of wine?
Need slippers? Got 'em! A fluffy throw over your legs? Just reaching into the linen closet for one! Cat on your lap? Yep!

We've even planted a worry tree outside the door... just the perfect place to leave your worries and issues as you enter. Don't be alarmed if they are gone when you leave :)

Enjoy the peaceful and loving place we've created, just for us.

Quiet

Life here at my house is quiet today. The rain drops are hitting the fallen leaves.  The furnace is on.  Tim just left to go visit his dad.  We've received news that Uncle Ross, who I think is Winn's last surviving brother, has passed away in Quebec just a few days ago and his funeral is on Thursday.
Glenn and M-C travelled back to Brossard yesterday and I spent the rest of the day cat-napping and puttering around. Ate chinese (Canadian style) food leftovers and peach crisp and grilled cheese sandwiches.

    It was a wonderful weekend. The rest was needed and I slept very well. I am glad to be home.

    Today is cold and rainy and workday has begun.

    I did not take any pictures since the camera we have does not work well. I'll ask Glenn if he has some good shots with his phone, otherwise, I have to rely on our members:)
